When creating a survey, it's a good idea to group questions by topic — especially if the survey is extensive or includes at least three matrix or slider-type questions.
Grouping questions helps the respondent better understand the subject area being addressed. In addition, matrix and slider questions can use "intelligence" if they belong to a question group. This enables more detailed result analysis in the report.
Non-intelligent group
-
The respondent does not see their previous response points in matrix or slider questions.
-
If desired, you can define different axis labels for the matrix and slider questions within the group.
-
The respondent does see the previous response points for matrix and slider questions under the question group.
-
Previous answers are shown as small dots, making it easier to compare the new response to earlier ones.
-
NOTE: When using an intelligent group, there must be at least three questions in the same question group for the functionality to work properly.
When using an intelligent group, the axis values and labels of the matrix and/or slider questions in the group are automatically unified. This allows for comparisons between questions and enables relative response analysis in the report.
