You can share a survey with a colleague if they have an account in the ZEF survey tool and belong to the same organization as you. You can grant either view or edit permissions to the selected survey.
1. Select the survey
On the home page, choose the survey you want to share access to. Open the survey by clicking its card.
2. Sharing the survey
In the Build view of the survey, you can share access rights by clicking the "Colleague" button in the top right corner.
Clicking the button opens the sharing window, where you can click "Add colleagues".
In this window, you can also manage the permissions each user has for the survey. There are three permission levels:
-
Owner
-
Editor
-
Viewer
The owner has full control over the survey.
In the advanced settings, you can also specify whether editors are allowed to share the survey with others.
Access Rights Overview
Owner Rights
A user with ownership rights can:
Delete the survey
Add or remove other users' access
Note: When you transfer ownership to someone else, you are no longer the owner of the survey.
Edit Rights
A user with edit rights can:
View and modify the survey
Send invitation messages
See the survey results
Edit rights are especially useful when collaborating on a survey. All changes are saved automatically, and users immediately see edits made by others.
View Rights
A colleague with view rights can:
Preview the survey
Share the survey link or send it via email
View survey results in the analysis view
With these rights, the user cannot edit the survey.
