Analysing responses

In order to view the reports of your survey, go to the Analyze tab. The Analyze tab can be reached from the Surveys tab by clicking on the survey card and choosing Analyze from top middle.

Please notice that the language of the questions in the report is the default language you have set when first publishing your survey. The language of the analysis view can be changed from the right below the Compare respondents box.

HINT! Before you analyze the answers, you might want to close the survey. If you don't your results may change as more responses can come in.

Responses can be filtered and compared based on various criteria, such as the time of response and the selected answer options in single- and multiple-choice questions. In practice, almost all charts are interactive and allow filtering of results.

From the timeline, you can select the date range you want to view by clicking the desired start date, holding down the mouse button, and dragging across the desired days.

To filter respondents based on answer options, click the desired option(s). You can select multiple options by clicking on each one. After making your selection, click the "Crop from selection" button that appears in the top corner of the page.

To remove a cropping, click on "n crop filters in action" under the consensus percentage. Then click the trash bin on the cropping filters you want to remove. When using Cropping, only the selected respondent group is shown — the results are not calculated from the entire data set in the background. There are two options in the cropping bar when you've made a selection:

  • Crop from selection, which hides all responses except the selected ones

  • Add to comparison, which allows you to compare multiple selected response groups

Once you’ve added multiple groups to the comparison, you can compare them more easily by activating the comparison mode from the right side of the screen. Read more about comparing results here: Comparing respondent groups. Comparing NPS from HR and Sales responses:

By clicking the three dots to the right of a question title, you’ll see the following options: Edit, Duplicate, Merge Chart..., and Hide.

The Edit option allows you to change the chart type.
The Duplicate button creates a copy of the chart.

With Merge chart..., you can create new charts based on different questions and question groups according to your selections. Effectively this allows you to combine the current table with another.

You can view how responses are distributed by clicking Show datatable under each question. To hide this view again, click Hide datatables.
