Sending Reminders

Poor response rate? You should send your respondents reminders. One or two reminders can make a difference and meaningfully increase the response rate of your survey.

Go to the Deliver tab, find your survey invitation, and click on New reminder. Next you either select to send the reminder immediately to selected respondents (such as those who have not began answering yet) or you schedule the reminder for later.

If you choose to send your invitation to selected people you will be met with a view where you need to select the people you want to send a reminder to. You can either use the presented slider to select a group of respondents or select individual recipients from the list below. Typically a good reminder is sent to people who have not yet started the survey. The recipient statuses are explained in this article. DO NOT send reminders to people that have not been delivered the first invitation, this typically means the email address is not in use or is incorrect and the reminder will not reach the recipient either, doing this is harmful to message reputation and it will more likely be flagged as spam!

After selecting the recipients click on New reminder and select either SMS or email. From there you create the reminder message as normal.

If you choose to create a scheduled reminder you must first select either Email or SMS. From there you will create the invitation message, define the sender and subject as usual. When these are done you will click on Schedule reminder (it is where you would normally send the invitation). Clicking on Schedule reminder opens the following view. Here you need to select when the reminder will be sent and to whom. Simply use the calendar to select the date and time you want to send the reminder on, the default selection +3 days from this date. Next, click on "All Delivered, but not Started" text. You will be prompted to select the recipients of the invitation on a slider just like in the normal reminder. The default selection is typically good but you can tweak it if desired.
